The URL shown on the password reset confirmation email has an expiry date for security reasons. After the expiry date, you will not be able to reset your password by accessing the URL.

In that case, please reset your password from the beginning.

Your password can not be reset by tapping the reset button. First, you will receive a reset confirmation by email to the email address you have registered.

• If you have already received a reset confirmation email:
  Please access the URL written on the email. Your password will be reset and you will receive another email with your new password.
• If you haven’t received the reset confirmation mail:
  Please go to the SETUP menu and check if the registered email address is correct. If there is a mistake, change your email address to the correct one and start the password reset from the beginning.
• If there was no mistake on the registered email address:
  Please restart the password reset from the beginning. If you still haven’t received an email after one hour, please try again later.

When you forgot your password, you can reset it in the following ways:

＜When you are logged in to Sekai Camera＞

1. Please check if your email address is registered on the SETUP menu. If your email is not registered, insert your email address and tap “OK”.
2. Tap on the reset button (the key icon) on the SETUP menu.
3. A confirmation email will be sent to the registered email address. Please access to the URL shown on the email.
4. You will receive a new password on your registered email address.
5. If you are logged in to Sekai Camera, please logout from the SETUP menu.
6. Login with your account ID and the new password, and go to SETUP menu to set a new password of your choice.

＜When you are logged out from Sekai Camera＞
Please send us an email in either English or Japanese.

Please include the 3 following information in your email:

• Please indicate your request: [password reset request]
• Your registered ‘Account ID’ (NOT your ‘nickname’ that is shown on Air Tags etc.)
• Your registered email address

After checking the above, please send an email to:

• If your email address is not registered, you can NOT reset your password since we will not be able to send you a confirmation email.
• The “Account ID” is what is required to login, and it is not your ‘nickname’ that is seen on Air Tags or your profile.
• Your Account ID is important in administering our services – please don’t forget it.

If you are logged in to Sekai Camera, you can check your Account ID on your iPhone “Settings” application, referring to “Sekai Camera”.

If you tried that already and still can’t find your account ID, please send us an email in either English or Japanese.

Please include the following 2 pieces of information in your email:

• Your request to check your account ID
• Your registered email address

We will send a confirmation email to your registered email address, and if there are no problems, we will give you your account ID.

＜Please Note＞

• The “Account ID” is what you need to login, and it is not your ‘username’ that is seen on Air Tags or your profile.
• If your email address is not registered, you cannot receive a new account ID since we will not be able to confirm your identity.

If the “OK” button does not activate when creating an Account, please check the following:

- On your Account ID and password, symbols other than the alphabet or numbers, and ’-’、’_’ cannot be used.
- You cannot have less than 4, or more than 32 symbols on your Account ID.
- You cannot have less than 4 or more than 16 symbols on your password.
- You have registered a valid email address.

If you have checked the points above and still can’t activate your Account, please send us an email, preferably with a screen capture.

Only alphabet, numbers, “-” (hyphen), “_” (underbar) can be used for an Account ID.

An Account ID is used to register a user on Sekai Camera, and is used only to login. Use 4-32 alphanumeric characters. Account ID names that are already taken by others will be unavailable. You will not be able to change your Account ID after registration.

A nickname will become a part of a user’s profile after registration. A nickname is shown to the public to indicate who posted the Air Tags, or used to be displayed in Air Profile. Please do not register private information that you do not wish to be disclosed.

A nickname can always be changed from the “SETUP” menu.

If you have an Account ID on Sekai Camera and wish to re-download the application or to install the application on your 2nd iPhone, you can use the same Account ID to login. If you can’t login, please check the following:

1. Input your Account ID in the login panel. An Account ID is what you have registered upon the first use of Sekai Camera, and it is not your nickname or email address.
2. Your network connection may be unstable or the server may be busy. In that case, please wait for a short while and retry, or move to a location with a better network connection.
3. The service may be in the middle of maintenance work. Please check the maintenance information on this website or on Twitter @sekaicamera.
