3. Explore Sekai Camera

Sekai Camera offers many features in addition to simply posting Air Tags. This section highlights features designed to make Sekai Camera more useful and enjoyable.

Air Filter

Air Filters reduce clutter on the liveview screen by hiding Air Tags that you do not wish to view.
Tapping ‘FILTER’ from the side menu displays the Air Filter option screen.

Air Filter settings screen will show you the publishers of Authorized Tags around you in a list.
Tapping on one of the publishers will filter all other Air Tags other than the Authorized Tags posted by the selected publisher.
Selecting ‘All’ and tapping on the ‘OK’ button will restore all Air Tags to the Live View.

Please tap ‘OPTION’ while selecting ‘all’ from the list for further preferences.

You can create a filter to specify time, distance, user, Air Tag type (landmarks and shouts), Air Profile and authorized tags.
Once you have configured Air Filter, tap ‘OK’ to save.

Air Pocket

Air Pocket allows you to save Air Tags and see them anytime and at any location.

Save your favorite Air Tags by tapping the ‘POCKET’ button on the side menu.

You can view Air Tags that have been saved in your Air Pocket by tapping on the ‘POCKET’ button while you are watching liveview. Slide the screen with your finger to scroll through stored Air Tags. Tap an Air Tag to see its details. The buttons at the bottom of the screen allow you to sort your stored Air Tags in the same manner as you can with the Air Filter.
If you tap the ‘MAP’ button on the side menu, the location of the selected Air Tag will be displayed on the map.

Tap the ‘DELETE’ button on the side menu to delete the selected Air Tag from your pocket. Please note that deleting an Air Tag from your Air Pocket won’t delete the original Air Tag itself.

Air Profile

Air Profile is a feature accessed from within the liveview, which displays the profile pictures of other Sekai Camera users nearby.

Air Profiles are displayed within a translucent frame on the liveview screen.
Tap the Air Profile to view the profile of the user.

You can also choose to ‘follow’ a user by tapping on the ‘FOLLOW’ button. Following a user will allow you to view that user’s comments and actions on the Sekai Life timeline.
When you view the profile of a user that you are following, the ‘UNFOLLOW’ button will be displayed. You can choose to stop following this user’s comments and actions by tapping on this button. (Note that you can also change the ‘follow status’ of a user from within Sekai Life).
If you wish to hide your Air Profile from others, you may turn the profile switch to ‘OFF’ from within the ‘SETUP’ menu.

Air Tweets

See your Tweets as floating Air Tags, through a mash-up with Twitter. Using the ‘Twitter’ API, you can view tweets ”Twitter’ users have made at your location. These tweets are viewable directly on the liveview, and are displayed within a blue frame.

Air Tweets show the latest tweets from ‘Twitter’ users who have registered latitude and longitude information in their Twitter settings.
You can see the details of an Air Tweet by tapping on it.

You can view the timeline of a ‘Twitter’ user by tapping on their profile picture.

Air Tweets can also be filtered.
You can filter Air Tweets on your ‘FILTER’ button, when you scroll down on it. For example, you can decide whether or not to view Air Tweets or choose to view them only from a set time period.

‘Twitter’ Linkage Settings

Sekai Camera (Version 2.0) enables you to configure ‘Twitter’ in 3 ways:
Browse (default) – Air Tweets are displayed in the liveview. Your Air Tags will be posted only to Sekai Camera not to ‘Twitter’.

Post – If you post Air Tags (text tags and photo tags), the contents will also be posted to ‘Twitter’. Air Tweets will not be shown in the liveview.

None – No linkage to ‘Twitter’ whatsoever. Air Tweets will not be shown in the liveview. Air Tags will not be posted to ‘Twitter’.

The corresponding linkage with the Twitter services can be configured through the ‘Sekai Camera’ tab within the ‘Settings’ menu on your iPhone. If you wish to set to ‘Post’ mode, you need to register your Twitter ID and password. Adding phrases (i.e. hashtags) in the ‘Prefix’ box will automatically insert those phrases when you post Tweets via our Air Tweet services.
