4. Enjoy Sekai Life
Sekai Life is a lifestream service which enables you to communicate with other Sekai Camera users through Air Tags.
Switch to Sekai Life
The Sekai Life screen appears when you tap ‘LIFE’ icon from the menu.

Touching ’LIVEVIEW‘ button will close Sekai Life, and display the Sekai Camera liveview.

Tapping the back button of your device will close Sekai Life, and display the Sekai Camera liveview.

There are 5 menus accessible within Sekai Life, ‘TIME LINE’ ‘REPLY’ ‘HISTORY’ ‘FOOTMARK’ ‘PROFILE’. You can switch between them by tapping the menu button at the bottom of the screen.
Timeline
You can view the timeline by tapping the ‘TIMELINE’ button from the menu. Your own actions and those of your followers will be shown in chronological order.
Actions will be displayed on the timeline when you or someone who you follow:
- post an Air Tag (text, photo, or sound)
- place an Air Tag in their pocket
- start following another user
- start to be followed by another user (only YOU will be able to see this information)
The latest action will appear at the top of the list.
Reply List
Tap the ‘REPLY’ button at the menu to see the Reply list. You can view in chronological order, actions and profiles of other users who have who have interacted with you and your Air Tags.
Actions are displayed on the Reply list when:
- someone comments on your Air Tags
- someone puts your Air Tag in their pocket
- someone puts your profile in their pocket
- someone starts to follow you
The latest action will appear at the top of the list and you can view archives of the Reply list in chronological order.
History
You can view your personal history by tapping the ‘HISTORY’ button from the menu. Actions that you have taken will be shown in chronological order.
Actions are displayed in the History list when you:
- post an Air Tag
- place an Air Tag in your pocket
- start to follow another user
The latest action will appear at the top of the list and you may view the archives in chronological order.
Details
You can view the Air Tags and comments from any of the Timeline, Reply and History lists within Sekai Life.
Through Sekai Life, you can make comments on Air Tags even when you are not at the location they were posted. You will also be able to delete your Air Tags and comments even when you are not at the location they were posted.
You can post a comment by tapping the ‘COMMENT’ button and selecting the type of comment that you wish to post.
Tap the ‘DELETE’ button to delete the Air Tags and comments that you posted.
Profile
Tap ‘PROFILE’ from the menu to view your own profile.
This screen displays your nickname, profile picture and the introduction that you created when you first setup Sekai Camera. Your Account ID will NOT be displayed. Please be aware that if you include any personal information in your profile (such as your name or a photo of yourself), other users may be able to identify you. Therefore, you should absolutely not include information in your profile that you wish to keep private.
‘Following’ indicates the number of people that YOU are following.
‘Followers’ indicates the number of people who are following YOU.
‘Footmarks’ displays for approximately 2 weeks, the number of Sekai Camera users who happened to pass nearby you when both had their Sekai Camera application up and running. (If you block a user they will not be counted under ‘Footmarks’).
‘Blocking’ shows the number of users that you are currently blocking.
You may view the list of users in each category by tapping on the corresponding box. You can view the profile of the user by tapping on the username from the list. You may decide to start following users in your footmark list.
If you tap ‘HISTORY’ on another user’s profile, you can view the history of that user. You may also see who that user is following, or who they are followed by.
You can choose to follow a user by tapping on ‘FOLLOW’ from their profile. If you already follow the user, ‘UNFOLLOW’ will be displayed instead. Tap ‘UNFOLLOW’ to cancel following the user.
You can block a user by tapping ‘BLOCK’. Blocked users cannot follow you. Also, even if a blocked user happens to pass close by, it will not be recorded as a ‘Footmark’.
[Sekai Camera for Android]
Tapping ‘Life’ button will jump to your My Page of ‘Sekai Camera Web’, where you can see your post history, following and followed users. To go back to the liveview screen, tap back button on your device.
To browse your My Page, you need to log in with your account ID of Sekai Camera. Fill in the forms and tap the log in button.
