The following information explains how to operate Sekai Camera.
Please visit DOWNLOAD to download the application. The FAQ may also help you in answering further questions that you may have after reading this guide.
Sekai Camera is designed for use on iPhone 3GS. Sekai Camera can be downloaded on both iPhone 3G and 3GS, but use on iPhone 3G is not recommended.  iPhone 3G lacks various features, including a compass and advanced processing power, which does not allow for a responsive Sekai Camera experience.
If it is your first time using Sekai Camera, please begin at Section 1 and read everything thoroughly. If you are already familiar with a previous version of Sekai Camera, you may wish to skip ahead to Section 3 (‘Explore Sekai Camera’).

PORTRAIT: Sekai Life Mode (Life-stream View)

1. Let’s Start Sekai Camera

Welcome to Sekai Camera!
This section explores the basic operation of Sekai Camera and explains how to post Air Tags.

Launching the app for the first time

The first time you launch Sekai Camera, you will be asked to register an Account to become a ‘Registered User’. If you choose not to create an Account, your use of Sekai Camera will be restricted to simple browsing, and you will not be able to enjoy the many features of our Services. You can browse Air Tags without registering, but user registration is required to access additional features, such as posting Air Tags and using the life-stream features.
By becoming a Registered User, you will obtain an Account ID of your choice, which you will not be able to change after the initial registration. Your Account ID is important in administering our Services to you, so please do not forget it.

During the registration process, you will also be required to create a nickname and a password, which you may change anytime, any number of times, after registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
We require a real e-mail address to communicate with you in administering our Services, and to send you updates and news. In the event that the e-mail you have provided us is not valid, or for any reason is not capable of delivering updates to you, we may not have any means to communicate with you or confirm your identity.

Sekai Camera Mode: Liveview

Upon start-up you will be greeted by the ‘liveview’ screen, which is displayed when your iPhone is held in LANDSCAPE position. Note that the application will begin loading data from the server immediately after the start-up, and there may be a momentary delay until you begin to see Air Tags appear. A network connection (3G or WiFi) is required to use Sekai Camera.
Selecting ‘WiFi ON (Connect to a WiFi network)’ from your iPhone settings menu will enable Air Tags to be positioned more accurately at locations (even if your iPhone is not connected to a WiFi network.)

Liveview displays all of the Air Tags posted at the surrounding location. When you use Sekai Camera moving around, Air Tags will also appear to move as you roam along. If you are using iPhone 3GS, your device will have a built-in compass, and the position of the tags will also change as you change the direction of the device.
The main operations on the liveview screen utilize an indicator at the top of the screen, and a side menu to the right of the screen (as shown above).
Open the indicator by tapping on the top portion of the screen (it will not be displayed when you are holding your iPhone still and/or when you are not using it). The indicator is like a radar screen that tells you where Air Tags are located in the four cardinal points map.
The white ‘dots’ displayed inside the indicator rectangle represent Air Tags in your current surroundings. Gray dots are Air Tags that are hidden by the settings on your Air Filter (discussed later). Flicking the indicator enables you to change the direction of the liveview, rather like a carousel, so as not to require you to turn 360 degrees to see your surroundings.
Tap a floating Air Tag to display its details. The detail screen on Air Tags will display the nickname of its creator, their profile image and the date when the tag was created.
To delete a tag, tap the ‘DELETE’ button. Note that you can only delete the tags that YOU have posted. Once the tags have been deleted, you cannot undo.

Use the zoom function if distant Air Tags appear very small and are hard to tap or see. Double tapping any place on the liveview other than an Air Tag will enlarge the desired portion of the screen. Double tapping a second time cancels the zoom. Pinching in and out allows you to scale the screen to the desired size.
The ‘DGE (Dynamic Groove Effect) Function’ will assist you in a situation when there are several Air Tags in your surroundings, and you want to see them in an organized manner:
Long press any part of the screen, other than an Air Tag, for a few seconds; Air Tags will begin spiraling towards you. You can view the detail of any spiraling Air Tag by tapping them. If you wish to undo the DGE, tap any part of the screen other than an Air Tag to stop the spiraling. This feature will allow you to browse overlapping Air Tags when in a densely populated Air Tag area.

User Registration

You can log in or register to Sekai Camera by selecting ‘SIGN-UP’ on the side menu. (If you have already logged in, ‘SETUP’ will be displayed rather than ‘SIGN-UP’).
Select ‘LOGIN’ if you already have an Account or select ‘Create Account’ if you haven’t yet registered.

You must create an ‘Account ID’ and ‘Password’ to register as a new user.
Your Account ID is used only when you log in; this will not be displayed in your tags and other users will not be able to see it.
Your Account ID must be a combination of 4 to 32 alphanumeric characters.  ‘-’ (hyphen) and ‘_’ (underbar) are also available.
Account IDs that have already been taken cannot be used. Note that once you’ve registered, you will not be able to change your Account ID afterwards.
Your password must be a combination of 4 to 16 alphanumeric characters.  ‘-’ (hyphen) and ‘_’ (underbar) can also be used. Unlike your Account ID, you may change your password at any time after registration.
Enter the password again in the password confirmation field.
Tap ‘OK’ to complete the user registration and log in to Sekai Camera.
In the future you will be logged in automatically using the Account information you created.

Profile

Be sure to register your profile before attempting to post Air Tags.
Tapping ‘SETUP’ from the side menu displays the profile settings screen.

To create a profile picture, tap the camera icon on the left.
Next choose a ‘Nickname’. Your nickname will be the name displayed to other users when you create an Air Tag.
Next create a ‘Self Introduction’. Your self-introduction is information about yourself that will be available to other users.
Please note that if you include any personal information in your profile (such as your name, a photo, or a description of yourself), other users may be able to identify you. Therefore, you absolutely should not include information in Your Content that you wish to keep private.
You can edit both your nickname and introduction at any time while logged in to the application.

Scroll down the screen and enter your email address. Remember that your email address is only used in administering our Services, such as in identifying you when you forget your password. Other users cannot see your email address.
You can also access other options from this screen, such as the ‘Air Profile’ display (ON/OFF) or password reset.
After completing the above information, tap ‘OK’. Your profile is now complete.
Now you are ready to post Air Tags…let’s start posting!
